Quality employment does not begin on the day a person looks for work, but years earlier. It is built through suitable training, acquiring a profession, developing skills, and long-term thinking that make it possible to integrate into a changing job market — while fitting the lifestyle and unique characteristics of the Haredi public.
To advance quality employment over time, creating jobs is not enough. There is a need for proper planning of training paths, professional guidance, and a genuine understanding of the challenges Haredi families face on their way into employment.
But this understanding cannot be gained from reports and data alone. The one who truly knows the challenges is the person who lives them day to day. The worker, the job seeker, the parent and the young person at the sharp end know better than anyone where the barriers lie and what is really needed to bring about change.
Haredi Kehilati seeks to turn this voice into a public strength. The more Haredi members of the Likud come together, the better we will be able to bring the experience of people on the ground to decision-makers, to represent the needs of the Haredi public, and to work to advance policy that provides a real answer to the employment challenges of the Haredi family.
We believe that when the community comes together, each person's individual experience becomes a strength that influences the reality of us all.
