The issues we advance

Culture and community

Community life strengthens the family, creates belonging, and provides opportunities to grow and develop.

Community life is an inseparable part of the quality of life of the Haredi family. Community activity, cultural events, community institutions, leisure, public spaces and social initiatives are not merely an addition to life — they strengthen the community, create a sense of belonging, and give families and children opportunities to grow and develop.

The public resources allocated to these areas should provide a real answer to the community's needs. When programs and activities are built out of familiarity with the lifestyle of the Haredi public, they create real value. When there is no one representing these needs, resources are often directed to initiatives that do not adequately answer the life reality of families and communities.

Those who truly know these needs are the residents themselves. They know which settings are lacking, which activities can strengthen the community, and which investments will bring families real value. The more their voice is heard in an organized way, the more it becomes possible to influence priorities and the way resources are allocated.

Haredi Kehilati seeks to turn the knowledge and experience of the communities into a public strength. Through the broad coming together of Haredi members of the Likud, we can work so that the public resources allocated to culture, community and social life are directed in a way that reflects the needs of the Haredi public, strengthens the communities, and gives families real value in daily life.
